A Message Just in From Poland

Mark and Evelina went home with their baby Monday afternoon. They used a mid-wife but here in Poland you still have to go to the hospital for the mid-wife to deliver the baby. Mark and Evelina got to the hospital about 2:00 am Saturday morning and three other ladies arrived at the same time to deliver their babies also. The next day Evelina was the talk of the doctors and nurses. They begin to tell all the others doctors and nurses how different Evelina was during the delivery than the other ladies. They wanted to know why she did not scream and curse and act hysterical like the other ladies during delivery. She told them that she was a Christian and that God had given her peace during the delivery. Here in Poland they put four women to a room after they have their baby and these other three ladies began to ask her questions because of her testimony. The next day the Roman Catholic priest came by trying to give all the ladies a picture of Mary and he wanted to pray for each of them and their babies. When he got to Evelina she told him that she believed in Jesus and that she was a Christian and did not want his prayer or his picture. The priest got mad and made a scene which gave Evelina another platform to witness for Jesus from. The baby weighed 9.25 pounds and they all are doing well. Praise Jesus.
